Artificial Sweeteners, Sugar And Acne
Category: Natural Acne Remedies | Jun 29, 2011 |
Go To: Facebook.com Artificial sweeteners such as nutrisweet, sweet n low, splenda and others that contain aspartame can only make your skin and acne worse. These cause the body to become more toxic and acidic which causes your skin to break out even more. I actually recommend that you have regular sugar over sugar free artificially sweetened foods and drinks. The best way to sweeten your food and drinks is an herb plant from south america called stevia. It actually sweetens, does not effect insulin and glucose levels in the body like sugar and is actually good for your teeth too! this is a miracle herb and the best sweetener you can get for your health and clear skin and I highly recommend it. Here is some organic stevia packets: www.amazon.com Please like, comment, favorite and share this video! Thanks

@AdamsRib84 I’m honestly not too familiar with truvia but just looked it up and it’s honestly hard to say… it mentions stevia on their site but in their ingredients it doesn’t show it so i’m kinda confused. I really don’t know and it’s hard to say… this seems better than most sweeteners but doesn’t seem to be as good as pure organic stevia! that’s all I can tell! wish I knew more… sorry!
Hey Dave. I’m not sure if you answered this but I was wondering if I can get the same benefits from the natural sweetner Truvia that I can get from Stevia. After doing a little research, I noticed they are a little different. I was asking b/c I like Stevia but Truvia is absolutely delicious…IMO=) Are you famaliar with Truvia? What is your opinion on it? Thanks Dave…you’re the best!
@BFbeautygals Very cool
Thank you so much! I appreciate the support! I’m glad you are learning and enjoying it! Health is actually really interesting and fun when you get into it!
Yay!!!! I’m the one that posted the reply on Facebook!
Love your videos! So helpful!
@acneerasingsecret
Too bad everyone at home loves white sugar, they would sleep on top of it.
@gumybearss Organic Turbinado brown sugar is in more of a natural state than refined white sugar.. It’s healthier overall but I recommend stevia over anything because it’s a plant that is a sweetener but doesn’t raise your blood sugar like sweeteners. Basically brown sugar has molasses added so if you have 1 cup of sugar you are having less sugar than 1 cup of refined white sugar b/c brown sugar has a “filler” if that make’s sense… and molasses actually has some health benefits.
I am pretty sure when brown sugar is made the raw sugar is cooked and separated into the refined white sugar and molasses and then are mixed together again so brown sugar isn’t that much better than white, but I think it tastes better and I don’t seem to need as much brown sugar as white. I am more of a savory person than a sweet tooth though. This is just what my History teacher told me though so it may not be true and I am too lazy to see if it is or not XD
@essycc I will write the idea down… I have a few video requests but I will write it down and get to it eventually i’m sure! Thanks for the idea
Hey!!!! Will.you do a video on neem?
@killshotnation I don’t like corn syrup and don’t recommend it either… It causes your body to become more acidic… Stevia is the best sweetener overall.
Corn Syrup?
@MadameMcintosh yeah, unfortunately most “vitamins” are junk… I recommend getting vitamin c through lemons and other citrus fruits…. or camu camu!
I was taking vitamin c ‘with no sugar added’ but read the label and saw there was starch and sorbitol. Now I don’t mind starch, but I looked up sorbitol and it’s a hidden replacer for sugar, it has a bit less sugar but it has the same effect. So horrible. No wonder I got addicted to the stuff.
@Dinuosuo I answered this question on the other video, I see all the comments so you only need to ask once!
Aspartame also contains MSG, which is clinically proven to cause acne. Not to be trusted. Not to be trusted at all.
Hi David, what about artificial flavorings in sugarless chocolate?
@acneerasingsecrets yes please
@acneerasingsecrets yes david haha
eating foods that contains sugar can cause ur testosterone and estrogen level to increase means ur stress hormone will increase.. that’s why we’re having pimples.. anything that involves SNS symptoms can cause also pimples
@GabbyFabby1994 Candida craves sugar to grow, sugar feeds the yeast infection! So for many people it’s hard to get rid of acne simply because they cannot give up sugar (or extremely limit it)! Thanks for the comment and question… Maybe I should make a video about natural treats or something that taste good but are still good for you… that might help ppl out. Thanks again!
@GabbyFabby1994 LOL! good question… that’s funny. Sounds weird but honestly I really don’t that much anymore! I’m so used to eating healthy that it’s just a habit… I think your taste buds change and adjust based on what you eat because i’m beginning to like and eat healthier and like it. I actually saw a commercial for reeses peanut butter cups the other day and thought “gross” to myself! never done that before but you get used to it. Craving sugar is often linked to candida btw!
David, you always say that sugars and junk food is horrible.. but c’mon you HAVE to have a need or craving to eat something junky sometimes, am I right?
)
@JimmySparx95 Thanks for the gratitude and appreciation jimmy! it means a lot to hear support for the time I put into making the vids! you da man!
@kbaby1221 It depends, organic carrost are sugar free and they are great! on the other hand most “Sugar-Free” Labeled foods contain other artificial sweeteners that are actually worse… Like aspartame is a artificial sweetener that I would not recommend that is in food & drinks etc.
Are sugar free foods good to eat or would that also flare acne?
