DIY : Skin Care Mask – A Complexion Mask ~ to Detoxify & Exfoliate
Category: Natural Acne Remedies | Nov 28, 2010 |
Hello Everyone! This video is a Do It Yourself (or DIY) video. In this video, I discuss a fun recipe for an at-home complexion mask. Like the dead sea clay mask, this will detoxify the skin, improve skin metabolism, gently exfoliate the skin, etc. However, with a few added ingredients (strawberries, yogurt, and honey), the mask will transform into something unique and effective. Watch to learn the benefits of the mask. This is a fun thing to do with family, so get everyone involved. Also, once made, this mask can be much cheaper and much more effective than store bought skin care items. If you want to treat a condition such as acne, use this mask twice a week for a good amount of time (a couple months). If you are just doing preventative work / exfoliation / detoxification, etc., use this mask weekly or bi-weekly. Watch the video for a couple other fun tips if you have issues with bad breath, yellow teeth, dry scalp, or acne.
Here is the link to the inexpensive dead sea clay if you have yet to purchase some of the clay for yourself. cgi.ebay.com Thank you so much for watching. For more information about the dead sea clay mask, please check out my other video on this topic. www.youtube.com I hope you have fun making this mask and I hope you can really benefit from it. The ingredients have been proven to work well for many people. It can never hurt to exfoliate, detoxify, and moisturize/condition your skin! Sincerely, Michael (TheSublimeAgent) www.Twitter.com *No …
I love videos like this. Please do more if you have time! Can’t wait for your skincare homemade type of videos! I like Roc lotion but it discontinues so i really hope i can make my own with your coming video! Thanks a bunch for all your helpful information !
I have to try this! Look yummy …mmmhh ..before adding the clay I mean …lols
wow great video! thank u so much for doing this
i love your hair here ^_^
@elisegtutorials Sure, this mask would be great for oily skin…just use more clay and less yogurt
Thanks!
Could you make a mask for oily skin?
I’m going to try this. But u didnt post the link for where I can buy the dead sea clay that u used. can i have this link please. thanks
what kind of honey is that?
I remember when you made the dead sea clay video
Now I really want to buy the dead sea clay. Do you really love it and think it’s worth me purchasing?
@rvggarcon You can definitely refrigerate it to store it
Give the mask a few more shots. The dead sea clay should help to polish and detox the skin…unless you already have very balanced skin. Plus, it’s always some good nutrition for the skin.
I bought the dead sea clay from the ebay store you mentioned and it didn’t really make even a slight difference on my skin.
Are you supposed to refrigerate it?
Random question: Do you wear any make-up when doing your videos? at least in this one? your skin is unbelievably flawless, with very healthy skin-tones.
I love the painting behind you.
Looks soo good, makes me want to eat it!! LOL.. of course w/out the clay.
@hannban95 Absolutely, just try to make the mixture pretty thick so it will stay on your face, because it might be too watery. Thanks for asking!
Am i allowed to use this without the clay and just use the strawberries, yogurt and honey? Because I don’t think I’m going to get the clay mask anytime soon.
I’m so doing this.
I love this video, it has so much information in it! I love the little tips in between as well.
A quick question, what do you recommend for storing this? Like if there’s any left over, what can be done?
Thank you so much Michael.
OMGOMGOMG.
I just checked your page real quick to see if there was a new video and saw that I missed this one!!
You did your hair like that one video, YAY!! It looks so good..omg…omg..I’m excited.
Lol.
And holy crud, that intro was out of this world..the way the i went into Sublime was like, incredible.
I have to go to bed right now but I’mma come back tomorrow to watch the rest of it.
YAY! <3
@Rooshanii This is perfect for oily skin, as is almost any mask treatment. Just use less yogurt, but still put in a little bit if possible. I bet this would work very well for your skin
With oily skin, you will want to detox with something like a mask a little bit more often than those with dry skin
Thanks for watching!
@annie0523 Well, thank you so much for stopping by and I am certainly lucky to have you. Welcome. No, exfoliating and using a mask in the same night is not too harsh, unless you are really deeply exfoliating with a chemical peel or something. It is better to exfoliate before a mask, so the actual toxing in the skin can be removed…it is harder to penetrate through the small layer of dead skin. I am so glasd you use a mask twice a week. Your future skin will thank you!
@RockSymphonyLove Aww, thank you so much! I would love you hear your thoughts after you give it a shot. It is a great mask. Thanks so much for watching!
@leekyungsuh510 It is so interesting to hear that. I have never “known” anyone who knew a bee keeper (haha, that comment sounded werid) . I bet you cant have a bee phobia with a dad that is always hanging around bees! Yes, honey is not only tasty, but it is so good for the skin.
@htur10 Awesome!! Thank you so much! I would love to hear your feedback after you give this mask a shot.
I am working diligently on more DIY videos (they take longer to film and edit tho). Thanks for watching this video
@Nish4Shizzle Hehe. Thank you so much.
I liked the change. Need to get it cut again though. Thanks so much for watching!
@PastryTCB It does smell sooo good. And the mixture is super tasty. I got in trouble for eating a bunch of it before filming and I actually had to go back to the store and get more strawberries. Life is tough I guess…lol.
Thanks for watching
