@AmelieYvette I suggest you do more research to see if your endocrinologist is correct. As a specialist in RE, I cannot agree with him.

Well my endocrinologist has just told me that if you have PCOS then by definition you are insulin resistant as that’s what causes it.
Thank you for sharing with others…Aside from weight loss…which is important but does not necessarily preclude you from getting pregnant w/PCOS…you must also remember, you cannot be on clomid, metformin or bcp without proper diagnosis & proper monitoring so that you follow the correct treatment path. Not all PCOS sufferers are insulin resistant. Please see our latest video on PCOS with compelling testimony from two women who followed the correct treatment path.

ur so lucky u have a son..i have pcos too but havent got pregnant after 3 yrs.
I have been watchin ur make up stuff for about a year…little did i know that you were a cyster too! I am currently struggling with gettin a full diagnosis where they let me take metformin cause i have been on bc since i was 13…so my hormone levels have been masked…This is not the body i was supposed to have!

@panacea81 wow! i watch all your vids and i know this video is ancient but i have just been diagnosed with PCOS, need to go for my ultrasound and get my meds… makes me feel better knowing i am not alone…
I went for an ultrasound scan last thursday and was told my ovaries are polycystic. Thats it! Nothing else! So I slammed the door on the way out
and my mum went mental! I was meant to be having a blood test but my mum was fuming!! I have lots of symtoms of pcos, I have to go back to the hospital in august for them to break the bad news! I’m really scared, I’m only 13 and I don’t know what to do…
i am 15..i was confirmed with pcos by a doc after an ultrascan but then another doc said i dun hav it after a blood test eventhough i have the symtoms..lik facial hair,overweight and dark patches….i really need help..i hope you could suggest something best for me….i need help…
I had major surgery to remove a cyst, and they wanted me on metformin… I took it for a few weeks and it made me sick as a dog … I was just wondering if you had any sideaffects
Metformin did absolutely nothing for me… I was on it for 6 months and It did not change a thing.
wow I didn’t know you had PCOS I do too, I’ve had it for years but I tried the metformin & had an allergic reaction which majorly sucks & lmao I know what you mean about the chocolate craving lol

I just started taking metformin and you’re right about the side effects, you have to ease into the medication. I have to take 1 pill a day for two weeks and then work my self up to 2 pills, and then 3 pills a day.

It depends on how cystic your ovaries are. If you haven’t had a ton of problems, then you should be ok with kids. I definitely am in the same boat. I love children and I hope to have them when I get older as well.
If you do have trouble when you go to get pregnant, you can talk to your doctor about fertility treatments.
I know ALL about the side effects. Not pleasant. I’ve been on 3 pills a day for about a year and you are absolutely right. They do make you feel better. Have you talked to your doc about the extended release pills? They are SO much easier than having to take them three times a day.
Hi, great video! I’m 19 and I was diagnosed with PCOS about a month ago…my doctor just told me i have it and thats it! no help, no advice, i have no idea if im resistant to insulin or not. im not overweight at all, but i do have excess facial hair and delayed periods. Im not quite sure what to do next, if anyone would like to give me some advice, that would be great? And has anyone ever conceived whilst having PCOS? because i really love children and hope to have many when i get older
